BELLERIN VOTED BEST RIGHT-BACK OF THE SEASON

Goal readers have voted Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin as their best right-back of the season so far.

The Spain Under-21 international has dislodged out-of-favour Mathieu Debuchy to become a mainstay in Arsene Wenger’s back four, making 37 appearances for the club since the start of the 2014-15 campaign.

Bellerin has seen off competition from the likes of Bayern Munich legend Philipp Lahm and PSG full-back Serge Aurier, who finished second and third respectively in our poll.

It has been a quite phenomenal rise to the Gunners first-team for 20-year-old Bellerin, who only made his Premier League debut for the club in October 2014 having spent the 2013-14 season on loan at Watford.

The former Barcelona youngster is the second player voted into Goal’s team of the season so far, with Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer claiming his spot following Tuesday’s poll results.
