Gov. Okowa’s CPS, Ehiedu Aniagwu Hires Private Secretary, Erects 5 Star Hotel In Asaba

In the face of dwindling economy, the Chief Press Secretary (CPS), to the Delta State governor, Mr. Charles Ehiedu Aniagwu has hired a private secretary to work with him for one year, SocietyGists.com can authoritatively report.

It was reliably gathered that the hired secretary’s job in the one year is to compile the activities of Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa and prepare a documentary, a job the CPS is expected to do but due to lack of commitment to duty, in-sensitiveness and incompetence, the CPS has chosen to bequeath his duties to a private hand.

Though, at press time, the name of the secret PA could not be unveiled, it was gathered that the clandestine supporter is a graduate of the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State and a staff of African Independent Television (AIT) where Aniagwu was drafted from.

Aniagwu may not be wrong as he is taking after the footsteps of his principal, Governor Okowa, who has also hired Mr. Hilary Ibegbulem, his alleged killer squad as his principal secretary who has virtually taken over the job of Barr. Ovie Festus Agas, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

Mr. Aniagwu who has thrive fruitlessly to unseat the Commissioner for Information, Mr. Patrick Ukah, is already recruiting stooges for Okowa’s cabinet re-shufflement coming underway. Who knows who he is preparing his private secretary to unseat? Only God knows.

Meanwhile, SocietyGists.com can also convincingly report that Mr. Aniagwu is presently building a gigantic hotel in Asaba, the Delta State capital in Ibori Golf Club, a residential area, at a time his boss cannot even boost of giving capital projects to Deltans.

Painstaking efforts made by our correspondent to take capture of the ongoing hotel was unsuccessful as the CPS has beefed p security in the area to avoid media embarrassment.

It is no longer news that the CPS has been accused of syphoning money from government coffers haven built an empire for himself with some media men whom he takes to Okowa for interviews.

Also, reliable information at our disposal reveals that the CPS is presently regretting issuing government house identity card to some journalists whom he selected to cover his principal’s events.

It was gathered that his regret bothers around the reporters who used the ID Cards to collect money from politicians in the name of government house reporters.
