APC Chieftain, Chief Bisi Akande Loses 73 Year Old Wife
Madam Omowunmi Akande, wife of former interim National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Bisi Akande, is dead.
She died in a private hospital in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, yesterday. She was aged 77.
She will be buried in Ila-Orangun, Osun State today.
Last night, sympathisers flocked her family home to condole with her widower. Sources said arrangements were being made to convey her body to the University College Hospital (UCH) morgue in Ibadan.
