St Leo’s College Old Students Association Elect New Excos

The Old Students Association of At Leo’s College, Onikoko, Ibara, Abeokuta has elect new executive members at this year’s Reunion Party held at Upright Hotel in Abeokuta.

The Reunion Party started with some of the founding and new members in attendance amongst whom are Akinbo Aminat, Sunday Atanda, Bola Kodaolu, Dare, Lekan Eniayewun, Bukola Egunjobi, Yemi Shodimu Kazeem Okikiade, Abioye Àìkúlolá, Balikis, Oluwole Abiola, Olufemi Johnson and Canadian based Timothy Ajayi.

The past president of the Association, Lekan Sotola unanimously stepped down from seeking for another term in office he has held for the past two years, to give room for fresh ideas to be injected into the affairs of the prestigious association as his term ended.

It would be recalled that Sotola became the President of the Association in October 1, 2017 at the inaugural meeting of the alumni of St. Leo’s College.

His tenure will be remembered for uniting and bringing all members together under one umbrella body. Organising lecture for students of the school and giving out thousands of free notebooks to the Alma Mata.

The past Excos were dissolved after heading the affairs of the Association by the electoral committee led by, Abiodun Mulero, Azeez Adeboye and Kehinde Lawal.

However, new election were held and Seun Adebayo emerged the new President of the Association while Abiodun Ìdòwú Was elected as his deputy.

Other members of the exco include, Adeboye Azeez (General secretary), Etuk James (Asst. Gen. Sec), Lawal Kehinde (Financial secretary), Ogundimu Gbenga (Treasurer) and Lawal Damola (Welfare) while Wale Onifade was also re-elected as the Publicity Secretary.

Foods and drinks were available at the neck and call of all members.

    Up leonians
    I want to say this St Leo’s college is lacking behind in infrastructure and there is no library in the school the one they called library was nothing to write home about.
    Please do not let our beloved school go into extinction.
