IRAAS Recognizes Oniba of Iba Kingdom, Toyin Kolade, Primate Ayodele for their Role In Nation Building
The International Recognition and Appreciation Awards (IRAAS), the brainchild of Prophetess Princess Princess Elizabeth Olubisi Oyenekan has to continue to recognize and honour notable personalities with selfless service to humanity and individual contribution to the socio-economic development and growth of the nation.
His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Sulaimon Adeshina Raji – Ashade 1, Afolagbade, Okikiola (Oniba Ekun Of Iba Kingdom), Dr Princess Mrs Toyin Kolade (Iya Alaje Oodua) and Founder/ Spiritual Head Of Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church Lagos, Primate Babatunde Elija Ayodele were all honoured by IRAAS for their roles in nation-building and selfless contribution to mankind.
However, the convener of the event described the award as a symbol of responsibility to uphold the Omoluabi spirit — the spirit of integrity, the spirit of perseverance, and the spirit of mobility amongst the Yoruba race both home and in the diaspora.
She continues, it is also meant to encourage people who are valuable to society to continue to influence and impact society positively.
It would be recalled that the inaugural edition of the award was staged in the Palace of Ooni of Ife earlier this year where top-class monarchs like Oba Dr Ambassador Olusegun Aderemi (Atayero of Aramoko Ekiti), Oba Adesoji Kehinde Oladepo (Salu of Edunabon), Oba Babatunde Adetokunbo Awosunle (Elejesi of Ejesi-Ife Kingdom) and Yeye Lara Fashola Fanimokun (Yeye Olokun of Lagos) were all honoured.
