Bajomo CDA Inaugurates New Executives
Bajomo Community Development Association (CDA) has inaugurated the executive members that will pilot its affairs for the next two years.
The inauguration, which held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, was conducted by officials of the Agbado/Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
It is interesting to note that the Chairman, Mr. Solomon Ohiomah, the Secretary, Mr. Akinwande Bajomo and the Treasurer, Princess Ayodele, as well as some executive members of the last administration were returned unopposed by the residents of the community.
The representative of the Head of Department (Agric) of the LCDA administered the Oath of Office on the executives, and urged them not to betray the trust reposed on them by the residents.
In his speech, the Chairman, Mr. Solomon Ohiomah, said the new administration hopes to consolidate on its successes, while calling on the residents to continue lending their support so that they can achieve more developmental strides.
Ohiomah also used the occasion to appeal to the LCDA authorities to help address some of the infrastructural challenges facing the communities within the CDA.
He said most of the developmental efforts within the communities are being undertaken by the CDA.
Ohiomah preached love, peace, security and cooperation among the residents, saying engaging all residents in the development of the community is important to make the environment conducive for living by everybody.
Names and portfolios of other executive members are as follows, Mr. Ajayi Najeem (1st Vice Chairman), Mr Badejo Bayo (2nd Vice Chairman), Mr. Jimoh Toheeb(Ass. General Secretary), Mr. Samson Oyegbile (Fin. Secretary), Mr. Omole Oluwaseun,(Auditor), Mr. Adeleye Adedotun (Social), Mr. Onifade Adewale (P.R.O), Mr. Beckley Akinfenwa (Welfare), while Mr Oluwole Emmanuel and Engr. Ajani Martin we’re also returned as ex-officio 1 and 2 respectively.
