RC Ikeja-Alausa Partners with Radisson Blu for “Brush Strokes of Hope” Art Exhibition and Auction

The Rotary Club of Ikeja-Alausa, in partnership with Radisson Blu, is set to host a two-day art exhibition titled Brush Strokes of Hope, scheduled to take place on the 17th and 18th of December 2024.

This impactful event will showcase exclusive artworks, culminating in a private auction, all aimed at raising funds for essential humanitarian projects.

The exhibition, organised in collaboration with Dr Bolaji Ogunwo, an internationally acclaimed artist and educator from the University of Lagos, aligns with Rotary’s mission of service to humanity.

Brush Strokes of Hope is a group exhibition of paintings by twelve Nigerian artists, namely Azeez Salami, Akinsola Olamilekan, Bali Audu, Femi Adeleke, Fortune Adelekan, James Hannah, Kenny Adenle, and Oke Mayomikun.

Others include Omotayo Ambali, Onyike Onwuchekwa, Olusegun Obajuluwa, and Yusuf Durodola. The exhibition will be curated by Temitope Oladeji.

Funds raised will support various projects planned for the Rotary year 2024–2025, including paediatric and eye surgeries, medical outreaches, and economic empowerment programmes.

The exhibition will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on 17th December and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on 18th December, with a private auction of select artworks from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the final day.
