Bobrisky Admits Immigration Arrest Was an April Fools’ Prank

Nigerian social media sensation and controversial crossdresser, Bobrisky, has admitted that his claim of being arrested by the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) was merely an April Fools’ prank.

Bobrisky, known for stirring social media buzz, caused concern when he posted that he had been detained by immigration officials without knowing the reason. In his initial post, he wrote, “Guys, have just been arrested by immigration in Nigeria. I don’t know what I did o.”

The shocking announcement quickly gained traction online, with fans and critics reacting to the news. However, Bobrisky later disclosed that the arrest was a hoax, in line with April 1st traditions.

Despite the prank, Bobrisky has faced real legal issues in the past. He was previously arrested at the Seme border, raising speculation about his legal standing with immigration authorities. Furthermore, the Nigerian Immigration Service had confirmed an arrest, labeling Bobrisky as a “person of interest” in an ongoing investigation, though details remain undisclosed.

This latest stunt has sparked mixed reactions, with some calling it an unnecessary scare while others see it as typical Bobrisky behavior meant to keep fans talking.

As always, Bobrisky remains a polarizing figure in Nigeria’s entertainment and social media landscape.
