Breaking: Gunmen Kill Newly-Elected Imo APC Chairman
Gunmen in the early hours of Friday killed the newly-elected Chairman of the All Progressives Congress for Ideato Local Government Aeea of Imo State, Sunny Ejiagwu.
The gunmen were suspected to be assassins.
Ejiagwu was among 27 the Local Government Chairmen elected in the just concluded congress held early this week in the state.
Ejiagwu, popularly known as Ohaneze, was inaugurated alongside others by the new State Chairman of the party, Daniel Nwafor, after the state APC rescheduled election as ordered by the court.
The Commissioner, Imo State Police Command, Dasuki Galadanchi, has confirmed the killing of Ejiagwu.
