BREAKING: Six Kidnapped Igbonla-Epe Model School Students Released

A wave of relief and excitement swept across Lagos on Friday as the six kidnapped students of Model School, Igbonla, Epe were released by their abductors.
They were released into the hands of some of the officials of the school.
The release around 3 pm on Friday came 64 days after the students were abducted from their school. Their abduction had created tension and apprehension within their immediate families.
Both Acting President Yemi Osinbajo and Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode had assured the parents of the students that their wards would be released.
Sources said a ransom was paid to the kidnappers but it was not clear how much was paid.
