28 years old Mayowa Ahmed Shukura, who is suffering from terminal ovarian cancer, has finally succumbed to death, reports swirling around said.
The girl was said to have died in South Africa today, Sunday 21 August, where she was undergoing treatment.
She died days after kind hearted Nigerians donated N81million naira and over hundred thousand dollars in the controversial, ‘Save Mayowa Compaign fund’, for her treatment.
Couple of weeks ago, Mayowa’s story went viral, after popular actress Toyin Aimakhu, posted a video on social media, soliciting funds for her treatment. A call that caused ruckus until the police intervened.
