As Ondo State prepares for its gubernatorial elections on November 16, 2024, Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa is taking steps to honor some of the state’s most talented musicians, including renowned gospel artist Lekan Remilekun Amos. Known for his significant contributions to indigenous gospel music and Yoruba cultural music, Amos is one of the select few to be celebrated during Ayedatiwa’s campaign.

Governor Ayedatiwa, who hails from the oil-rich Ilaje region of Ondo State, shares a deep cultural connection with Amos, both being natives of the same community.
