IWD: Ace Saxophonist, Temilayo Abodunrin, Thrills Celebrities at Fidelity Bank Celebration
Talented saxophonist Temilayo Princess Abodunrin performed outstandingly to who-is-who that are present at the Fidelity Bank International Women’s Day celebration.
The event organized by the reputable financial institution to join the rest of the world to celebrate the global day to appreciate and recognize the achievements of women, raising awareness against gender bias and taking quality action for equality in commemoration of the year 2022 International Women’s Day (IWD) was colourful and memorable.
One of the performers at the topnotch event, the young pretty Temilayo was very excited to be part of history at the Fidelity Bank International Women’s Day (IWD) fiesta.
We also gathered that award winning Saxophonist is so passionate about the music industry and her undying love for playing the Saxophone has been her propelling force since she fell in love with the musical instrument from her tender age.
According to Temilayo, she disclosed that “She was very honoured and grateful for the opportunity given to her to perform at the great occasion and most especially in the presence of great Nigerian women that are changing the game to give voice for every Nigerian woman, including her”.
On records, we gathered that she thrilled the entire guests and her performance was classy in the presence of the MD/CEO Fidelity Bank-Mrs.Nneka Onyeali and the likes of Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija (The richest woman in Nigeria), Oby Ezekwesili (Former Minister of Education), Bola Shagaya,Erelu Abiola Dosunmu, Chief (Mrs.) Florence Ita-Giwa, Folashade Okoya, Linda Ikeji and many great women of notes.
International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global day observed all over the world on March 8 of every year and the theme for this year’s celebration is “Break the Bias”.8
Temilayo Abodunrin is positioned to do something different from what other young Saxophonists are doing in the industry and she is ever ready to give her voice through her saxophone to speak for the women globally.
