Justice Inyang Okoro Reveals that Rotimi Amaechi Visited Him to Influence Election Appeals in Favour of APC | Amaechi Reacts
A Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, John Inyang Okoro, who was arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS) has written to the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Mahmud Mohammed concerning what transpired on the night of the arrest.
In his letter, Okoro said that one iPad, 3 phones, $38,800, N3.5 million, and four cheque books were taken away by the DSS officers.
He explained that the money was balance from the different allowances he has been receiving as a judge.
Okoro alleged that Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, claiming to be from President Muhammadu Buhari, visited him earlier this year to mandate him to ensure that the All Progressives Congress (APC) wins their gubernatorial appeals in Rivers State, Akwa Ibom State, and Abia State.

Amaechi’s Media Office has also denied the allegations, saying that the minister never approached the judge in respect of the cases mentioned.
