Manchester United Inform Jose Mourinho He’s Got No Money to Spend in January transfer Window
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will not be given the funds to bring in any new recruits in the January transfer window, according to reports.
Eric Bailly, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba all came through the doors at Old Trafford this summer for a whopping combined fee of £145.3million.
Mourinho began life at United with a bang, after lifting the Community Shield in his first competitive match for the club, but a severe drop in form has already prompted many supporters to look ahead to January.
The Red Devils have lost their last three matches on the trot, with defeats to Manchester City and Watford in the Premier League, as well as a dismal 1-0 loss to Feyenoord in Europe in midweek.
However, according to iSport, the Special One will not have the opportunity to bring reinforcements to Old Trafford as he will have no money to spend following an intensely busy summer in the transfer market
Pogba, of course, returned to United from Juventus for a world-record fee of £89m but the France midfielder is yet to impress since signing on the dotted line.
Mkhitaryan has also had an underwhelming start after completing a summer move from Borussia Dortmund.
