Many Injured As Gov. Ihedioha Seizes Items from Okorocha’s Daughter’s Mall
The taskforce created by the governor of Imo State, Emeka Ihedioha, to recover assets stolen by the former governor, Rochas Okorocha, and his cohorts has, Thursday night, invaded a shopping mall, House of Freeda, reportedly owned by Okorocha’s daughter.
They invaded the shopping mall in search of government property and carted away property and merchandise believed to belong to the state government.
During the raid, several workers in the complex were severely wounded.
Properties and merchandise including clothes, chairs and fridges were carted away during the invasion that was supervised by the Chairman of the Committee, Hon Jasper Ndubuaku.
The fierce-looking youths raided shops owned by individuals not related to the former governor and carted away electronic appliances and other expensive items that were displayed for sale.
