After much dilly-dallying, the illegitimate government of All Progressives Congress (APC) under Mr. Dapo Abiodun finally sent a laughable list of eight (8) commissioner nominees to the Ogun State House of assembly on Tuesday.

For the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, the inadequate list further confirms that Mr. Abiodun is not just manifestly bereft of ideas needed in advancing the socio-economic prosperity of the state, he is definitely not prepared for a purposeful governance.

Or how do we explain the fact that the Mr. Abiodun, after wasting so much time, could not inject fresh blood into governance but has resorted to the same incompetent hands that were part of his failed governance in the last four years? Obviously too, there is a dearth of capable and trustworthy hands within the membership of the APC and the circle of associates of the rejected vote buyer.

This is further reinforced by the fact, after all the needless noise, just eight people were found good enough to be nominated and presented for screening as commissioners. The public should hereby take notice that aside his odious incompetence, Mr. Abiodun is willfully violating the Constitution which mandates the governor to nominate commissioners across the local governments in the state within 60 days of assuming office.

Our party challenges Mr Abiodun to deny rumours that he prefers to expend the state’s resources in prolonging his undeserved stay in government rather than forming a cabinet to serve Ogun people? Our great party, however, assure Mr Abiodun that all his desperate move to sit tight in office will come to naught and Ogun state resources will soon be liberated from the gluttonous appetite of him and his gang of vultures.

Lastly, it is sad enough to note that there is absolutely nothing to look forward to in the imminent Dapo Abiodun cabinet which would soon be sacked by the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, God willing.
