Otunba Gbenga Daniel Congratulates Osoba, Abiodun, Yayi On National Awards
Former governor of Ogun State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has sent congratulatory messages to the governor of the state, Prince Dapo Abiodun; former governor, Chief Olusegun Osoba and Senator Olamilekan Yayi on the conferment of national awards on the trio by immediate past president Muhammadu Buhari.
In separate letters of felicitation on Sunday, Daniel exhorted the dedication, sacrifice and invaluable contributions of the three awardees in the state and at the national level.
“This conferment is indeed well deserved in recognition of your very invaluable contributions to the development of our nation through your career path and chosen profession, journalism, and as an elder statesman in the politics of Ogun State and Nigeria as a whole,” the letter addressed to Chief Osoba read.
While also wishing Governor Abiodun a happy 63rd birthday anniversary, Otunba Daniel said “I believe the honour speaks to your antecedents in statecraft where you must have distinguished yourself and contributions to the growth and development of the Nigerian society.”
In his goodwill to Senator Yayi, Otunba Daniel stated “I have no doubt that the conferment is well deserved, especially for your contributions on the floor of the National Assembly which have impacted positively on the lives of the constituents that you represent.”
The letter wished the recipients ceaseless God’s blessings.
