Our attention has been drawn to some tissues of complete lies and falsehood being churned out by some attention seeking media outlets spewing out insinuations that the South West Zonal Women Leader Of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Chief (Mrs) Kemi Nelson and the Lagos State APC Women Leaders, Hon Jumoke Okoya-Thomas are ‘at war’.

We wish to state emphatically that the story is the handiwork of fifth columnists bent on sowing seeds of discord in the women wing of our political party as there is no iota of truth in the fictitious write-ups being churned out to millions of APC supporters in Lagos State and the entire country.

It must be reiterated that the two politicians enjoy strong relationship in and outside of politics and are working assiduously for the success of the party in 2019. We must also state clearly that in a constitutional democracy, there is no boss or servant as the electorates are the ultimate boss.

May we use this opportunity to assure all lovers of democracy that Hon. Jumoke Okoya Thomas is a peace loving Christian, who has contributed immensely to the survival of our democracy as a former member of the Federal House of Representatives for three consecutive terms and would not be distracted from the task of taking the women wing of the APC in Lagos State to the pinnacle of political activities in Lagos State.

We therefore wish to enjoin members of the public and party members to disregard the fake, unfounded and fallacious friction between Chief (Mrs) Kemi Nelson and Hon Jumoke Okoya-Thomas.
