Singer Kizz Daniel Detained in Ivory Coast for Non-performance Despite Receiving $150,000
Nigerian artist, Kizz Daniel has been detained in Ivory Coast due to his failure to perform as scheduled, despite receiving a substantial payment of $150,000. This incident unfolded on Thursday, October 12, 2023.
Authorities from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) were responsible for apprehending the artist, who is presently in custody.
It’s worth noting that a similar incident occurred in August 2022, when he was detained for several hours by Tanzanian police in Dar es Salaam for allegedly not fulfilling a paid concert commitment.
