Social media users have been mad with Wizkid because of the way he presumably greeted TuBaba in a short, edited clip that was posted on social media last night.

The short video which surfaced on the internet showed Wizkid ignoring TuBaba who had stretched his hand to greet him, and gone ahead to greet Pato instead. The general assumption by the people was that Wizkid was rude to TuBaba.

Earlier today, the internet finally dug up the whole video showing that the short clip was taken out of context. The video shows Wizkid coming in, bowing to greet TuBaba before going on to greet Patoranking.

However, it seems TuBaba wasn’t quite through with greeting Wizkid and stretched his hand out for a proper handshake. Wizkid clearly did not see the stretched hand until he turned, then takes his hand, bows again in greeting and then goes ahead to greet Annie.

This new video that exonerated Wizkid from claims that he was rude led to Wizkid’s fans calling out other people who still claimed Wizkid was rude. The internet is now divided as to whether or not to support Wizkid as a respectful young man.
