Tacha Calls Out Nigerians in the UK for Snubbing Her in Public

Former Big Brother Naija star, Tacha, has expressed her disappointment with Nigerians in the UK, accusing them of ignoring her in public while secretly recording her on their phones.

In a video message shared on social media, the reality TV star and influencer voiced her frustration, issuing a stern warning to fellow Nigerians in the UK. She made it clear that while she does not demand greetings from anyone, she will not tolerate being filmed without her consent.

“You guys would not believe that I saw so many Nigerians today, which was great. But the craziest part is that they would see you and won’t say hi to you,” Tacha stated.

She went on to compare her experience with the warmth she received from non-Nigerians, saying, “I can’t even start to count how many white people complimented me today, including a high school kid and an old man. The crazy thing was that the Nigerians that saw me today, what came into their heads was to bring out their phones and record me.”

Tacha firmly addressed the issue, warning, “Let me sound this warning: if you see me on the road and don’t say hi to me, it’s fine. I don’t need anybody to say hi to me, and I’m not going to say hi to you either. But don’t bring out your phone to record me.”

Her statement has sparked discussions online, with many debating whether celebrities should expect acknowledgment from fans or simply accept public attention as part of their status. While some social media users sympathized with her sentiments, others argued that being filmed comes with fame.

Tacha remains one of the most vocal and influential personalities to emerge from Big Brother Naija, and this latest statement has once again placed her in the spotlight.
