“We All Belongs to Tinubu”, Adebutu Fires Dapo Abiodun
Ladi Adebutu, the People Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the last general election lambasted the governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun over the use of state security to intimidate and harass indigenes of the State whom he perceived as the enemy.
Adetutu, who had spent about six months in the United Kingdom returned to Nigeria last week Friday through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
In a video sighted by this online medium, the former House of Representatives member told his teeming fans that he’s a great supporter of President Bola Tinubu and warned Abiodun to stop threatening everyone in the state.
He said this during the End of the year party he held for thousands of PDP members in Abeokuta the Ogun State capital on Friday, December 29, 2023
There are speculations that Adebutu when he reclaims his mandate will be crossing over to the APC to strengthen President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s support base in the South West.
It is also pertinent to note that, Dapo Abiodun was more of an opposition to Asiwaju’s aspirations during the last presidential elections. Apart from opposing the president during the APC primaries, he refused to deploy resources and logistics support for the Presidential elections in what looks like deliberate sabotage.
He was alleged to have withheld the money for security men and women as well as party leaders on election duty during the presidential elections, while he kept the resources for use to prosecute the gubernatorial elections which came three weeks after.
Dapo Abiodun has also been accused of silently persecuting all those who supported President Tinubu during the party Primaries and general elections.
